American Airlines will be upgrading belly-hold freight capacity on several international routes from Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago this month by switching flights from Boeing 767 aircraft to larger Boeing 787-800s. The improved services from Dallas/Fort Worth will be to Beijing (June 2), Buenos Aires (June 4) and Shanghai (June 26). Service will switch on the Chicago to Tokyo Narita operation on August 18.

The new aircraft have larger cargo loading doors and a capacity of 28 freight positions.
